Bin Label Maker

A consistent SKU scheme plus real scannable Code 128 barcodes, laid out for four Avery sheets at their published dimensions.

Screenshots, not a working copy. This product is a single self-contained HTML file, so publishing a usable one here would be handing it out for free. What you see below is the real tool running, photographed at full page height with the values shown — nothing is mocked up, redrawn or retouched.

What it looks like

Thirty labels on an Avery 5160 sheet, SKUs 001 through 030.
Thirty labels on an Avery 5160 sheet, SKUs 001 through 030. Code 128 Set B with a computed modulo-103 check symbol, drawn as vector SVG so it stays sharp at any printer resolution. The sheet holds 30 and shows 30, in an unbroken sequence — count them.

What I ran before shipping it

  • 139 assertions: spec-derived checksum comparison, a scanner-style round-trip decode of every test string, and a pattern-table cross-check against the python-barcode library.
  • It computes the module width live and warns you when a SKU is too long for the chosen sheet. On Avery 5167 a 14-character SKU lands at 7.2 mil against GS1's 9.84 mil floor — it prints beautifully and scans as nothing.
  • Avery 5167's horizontal pitch is 0.3125in, not the 0.3in gap that gets quoted. The other three sheets check out against their published specs.
