Enter what an item sells for and see what lands in your account on seven marketplaces side by side — using the fee basis each one really charges on, which is where most comparisons get it wrong.
Everything runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, and there is no account to make.
Recursion Budget — if you are building anything that expands a topic into sub-topics and expands those, the call count is a geometric series. Depth 6 at branching 5 is 3,906 model calls, not a few hundred. Works out the worst case and what it costs before you press run.

eBay, Etsy, Mercari and Facebook all take their cut of the whole amount the buyer paid — the item plus the shipping. Poshmark does not. Its commission applies to the item price alone; the shipping the buyer pays is a separate pass-through.
That difference is not academic, because Poshmark's rate has a cliff at $15. Sell a $10 item with $7.97 shipping and a calculator using the total sees $17.97, decides you are over the line, and charges 20% — $3.59. The real fee is the flat $2.95. It overstates what Poshmark costs you by 22% on that sale, and it does it in the direction that makes Poshmark look worse than it is.

Researched September 2026. Rates change, and some vary by category, by seller standing and by country. Check a row against your own most recent payout statement before relying on it. Etsy also charges $0.20 per listing, which is counted below as a cost rather than a fee, since you pay it whether or not the item sells.
Yes. eBay's final value fee is charged on the total amount the buyer paid, which includes the shipping they were charged. On a $24.00 item with $5.95 shipping, the fee is calculated on $29.95, not on $24.00. At 13.6% plus $0.40 that is $4.47 rather than the $3.66 you would get by using the item price alone.
No. Poshmark's commission applies to the item price only. The shipping the buyer pays is a separate pass-through and is not part of the fee base. This is the opposite of eBay and Etsy, and it is the single most common mistake in fee comparisons.
$2.95 on the $14.99 item and $3.00 on the $15.00 item. Poshmark charges a flat $2.95 below $15 and 20% at $15 and above, so one cent of sale price costs you five cents of fee. Because the threshold applies to the item price and not the total, adding shipping does not push you over it.
No. Depop removed its 10% selling fee for US and UK sellers. Payment processing still applies at 3.3% plus $0.45, so a $24.00 item with $5.95 shipping costs $1.44 in fees rather than nothing.
Local pickup is free. Shipped orders are charged 10% of the total the buyer paid, with a minimum of $0.80 per order, and payment processing is already included in that 10%. The minimum is what bites on cheap items: a $4.00 sale is charged $0.80, which is 20%, not 10%.
A flat 10% of the total, charged on the item price plus shipping. Mercari restored the flat 10% in January 2025 and dropped the separate payment processing fee it had briefly charged, so the 10% is all of it.
Yes. The listing fee is charged when you list, and again when the listing renews or you relist it, whether or not anything sells. That is why it is counted here as a cost rather than as a fee on the sale.
It depends on the price, which is why this page is a calculator rather than a table. Depop is cheapest on most ordinary sales because it has no selling fee. Poshmark is unusually good on cheap items, where the flat $2.95 beats a percentage, and unusually expensive above $15 at 20%. Enter your own numbers above rather than trusting a general answer.
Promoted listing and advertising fees, international and cross-border surcharges, below-standard-seller penalties, category-specific rates, and sales tax — which the marketplaces collect and remit for you in most US states. It compares the ordinary case, which is the one you are usually deciding about.
