Coin Vault — Collection Tracker

One CSV file on your own machine. Silver melt value from weight and fineness, a valuation report, and no subscription.

Captures of the running tool against its sample collection. The melt figures are computed from the coin's own weight and fineness at a spot price you set — they are arithmetic, not a price feed, and the listing says so.

What it looks like

The collection view.
The collection view. Every coin with year, mint, grade, what you paid and what it is worth, in a file you own outright.
The valuation report.
The valuation report. Melt value computed from weight and fineness against the spot price you enter, separated from collector value, because conflating the two is how collections get mispriced.

What I ran before shipping it

  • 130 tests pass. The melt arithmetic is checked against hand-computed values for each metal and fineness.
  • Both publish gates clean: no credentials, no marketplace automation.
  • The eBay and price-guide scrapers that were in the original source were removed, not disabled — they were why an earlier version was blocked.

Not included

  • No live price feed. You enter the spot price. Nothing is fetched, so nothing breaks when a third-party API changes.
  • No auction-comp lookup and no suggested pricing.
  • Command-line and CSV. There is no hosted version and no account.
